Sandeep is a New Zealand and internationally trained Gynaecologist and Fertility specialist with a focus on providing personalised, quality care in women’s health. He specialises in pregnancy care, menstrual disorders, menopause management, minimally invasive surgery, PCOS treatment, endometriosis care, hysteroscopy, contraceptive counselling, pelvic pain management, gynaecological screenings, fertility management, recurrent miscarriages and vulvar diseases.
As part of completing his sub-specialisation to obtain CREI (Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility – the highest training level for Fertility in Australasia), Sandeep has completed a fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
Sandeep is a proud New Zealand Indian, born and bred in Wellington. He prides himself on being genuine, caring, friendly and approachable with patients. Outside of work, Sandeep is a sports fanatic particularly passionate about hockey and cricket. He also loves travelling and spending time with family.
Sandeep has an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Genetics before obtaining his medical degree also with the University of Otago. He is a clinical lecturer with the University of Otago, Wellington Medical school with a passion for teaching.
